Meet Our Founders

True masters of their craft

Steve Suchy

Steve has been a Fort Collins resident since 1996. He spent the first six years of his adult life serving in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm. He started his construction background with his brother by building simple decks and small projects for friends. This passion grew into opportunities to work with some of the top design-build companies in Northern Colorado.

Steve runs the daily business operations of the company. His passion for helping people shows in his deep care for building relationships with Renovative Resource’s clients.

Francis Clair

Growing up in Fort Collins, Francis has been involved in the construction industry from an early age. He proudly worked with BC Marble and Granite for over 15 years as their lead installer. There he gained invaluable expertise by working hand-in-hand with many custom builders and a variety of projects over the years.

Francis is our project manager and is well respected in both our industry and at our job sites. He runs a tight ship, is extremely detail-oriented, and rarely misses a beat.

Ready to Get Started?

Get the Facts.

Where do we start?

The first step is to contact us via phone, email, or on our contact form here. From there, we will get you scheduled for a free, no-obligation, initial meeting at your home.

This meeting will allow us to get to know both you and your project to determine feasibility and see if we are a good fit for each other. We will talk about the “big picture” of your project and tell you about our process. We will also cover potential pricing, scheduling/our availability, and the preliminary scope of work.

What is the process like?

Typically, each project begins with making an investment to work together through design and estimating, which we refer to as the “discovery” phase.

We do this in order to determine refined pricing, the construction schedule, a detailed scope of work, and as many of the design selections as possible. It is our goal, at the end of this phase, to have enough information gathered so we can provide you with the data you need to decide what to move forward with.

How long is the process?

The timeline varies widely between different types of projects, which can vary in size and complexity.

This can be as little as 4-6 weeks, to well over 6-8 months before you should expect actual construction to start. There are many factors to be considered such as material lead times, labor availability, building permit processing, and of course our current workload.

How much will it all cost?

Costs of a renovation can vary greatly depending on the scope and complexity of the project.

We are completely transparent and guide you through the various costs. There are always five costs to a project to be aware of; design, materials, labor, and project management.

Design costs include architectural, interior design, and engineering. Most material costs you have control over as they are based on your selections, while labor costs are based on current economic conditions and availability.
